DIY: Fluffy Bag

Hello sweets, another little DIY for you today. I am a lover of all things fluffy, especially when it comes to accessories and so I decided to try making something of my own. I am also hoping to decorate my socks and earrings in the near future, but for now here is how I made this bag covered in fluff stuff :)
What You Need:
-Small, nice shaped bag
-Metre or so of fluff
-Glue Gun
-Pom Poms, or other decorations
-Draw stripes with the glue gun down one side of the bag.
-Press the fluff down, following the zig-zag pattern of the glue
-Cut the fluff in place, when one side has been covered
-Repeat on the other side
-Glue along the remaining unfluffed up parts of the bag and add any sort of decoration you like. I chose pom poms because I think they went together with the overall look of the bag,
Now you should have a very fluffy and very sweet little bag, to pop in your essentials on the last remaining summer days.
I will be posting lots more soon, I have just had lots and lots of busy times the past few weeks. But will be back on track ever so soon.

Lots of Love

DIY Oh So Pretty Socks

What you need:
Pretty trimmings
Plain socks
Scissors
Glue Gun

1. Wrap your trimming around the top of your sock and cut the length you need.
2. Glue the trimming and along the rim of the sock
3. Press the trimming around the sock, wait to dry and enjoy!

Hello! This is probably the easiest thing I have ever customised and I am so happy with how these socks turned out. I love making plain things look pretty and interesting and with so many pretty socks in the shops, I thought I would have a go myself. I think by simply gluing a piece of lace or pompoms to some socks will mean your feet will always look lovely. I don't know about you, but I love now having a draw of colourful, fun socks. I am really enjoying my glue gun, I got it for about £5 on ebay and it came with 46 glue sticks! I can't believe I didn't have one before and I am now trying to use it on a daily basis.

What do you lovelies think of pretty socks and what shoes would you style them with?

Soap and bath bomb making

For a while now I have been making my own soap and bath bombs. This is mainly because I love making them smell exactly right and decorating them, any excuse to go to a craft shop really! Also my skin is terrible, it reacts to anything and so I try to use ingredients and scents that wont make my frail skin react.

I made this tutorial on youtube a while ago on bath bomb making and you can read my step by step guide on the magazine website  here. I have had a few requests on a soap tutorial as well, so when I am a bit less busy with uni and the like then I will get down to making one.

I am hoping this can become more of a business/ job type thing rather than a hobby. I am planning to get the health and safety certificate very soon, so I can sell my soapy treats at a Christmas market. No idea if it will be to anyone's taste but my own, but we shall see.

Here are some that I made for my boyfriend's sister's birthday. And I put them in this lovely box, purchased on eBay.

I do hope this little project of mine can become something and that I can always smell like fragrance oil and soap suds for years to come!
