Liebster Blog Award

I was nominated by the very lovely Ozel for the Liebster blog award, so a very big thank you to her! 
I think the award is a really nice idea to give small or unknown blogs with under 200 followers a chance to get recognized in the huge old blogging community.

1.My blog is called The Pale Female because I have incredibly pasty pale skin, along with really curly hair!

2.I have an iguana and am getting a lovely black kitten in a few weeks.

3.I collect plants, old fashioned crockery and velvet clothes. 

4.At the moment I am a fashion journalist, which I love, but eventually I would love to be an author and script writer.

5.I eat at least one chocolate bar a day. 

6.I moved to Paris for a year when I was 18 with my best friend and would love to live there permanently and open a book shop. 

7.Peacock feathers and lace are my favourite additions to anything.

8.My biggest inspiration is Kate Bush, I think she is just the most amazing and wonderful woman. You can read more of my ramblings on her here. 

9. I have been with my boyfriend for two and a half years and we both have freckly faces.

10.I sometimes still rent from a video shop and keep a list of every film I've ever watched.

11.I have always had a fringe and wonder if I always will.

1. Where do you envisage yourself in 5 years?

Hopefully still living in London, writing on the side and having a job I really enjoy.

2. What's your favourite topic to blog/write about?
I write mainly about fashion & beauty and I really love doing that
3. Did you make any new year resolutions?
Yes I made a few, to graduate and write more are hopefully the ones I will definitely stick to!
4. What current trend are you loving right now?
Edwardian influences in dresses, anything with a Peter Pan collar and maroon lips.
5. What's a pet hate of yours?
I really don't like rude people or anything neon. 
6. Any guilty pleasures?
Eating cheese with ginger bread and owning the Paris Hilton perfume (which is actually really nice).
7. What's a favourite beauty product that you couldn't live without?
Liquid eyeliner!
8. What's the last book you read? Did you enjoy it?
Less than Zero- Bret Easton Ellis. It was a really great book, all of his novels are brilliant. 
9. What do you think of social networking websites?
I think they are a really great place to meet people and share your thoughts etc. As long as you still keep your privacy and don't completely live your life online.
10. Favourite food?
Pasta with pesto and cheese. I could eat it forever. 
11. What are you looking forward to the most about the new year?
Finishing my degree, developing my blog and travelling somewhere in the summer :)
