Baby Blue Beach Hut

Beret~Ebay/Dress~Sister Jane via Asos/Shoes~Topshop

Happy December! Christmas is just around the corner now and what better way to get into the winter spirit than stand next to a load of pastel coloured beach huts....or not!
The beach is my happy place and I try to get there as often as possible. Even on the coldest of days.

My new dress from Sister Jane via Asos is 100% my dream dress.
It has all the perfect elements, from the gingham and the blue to the length and the lace trim.
And just look at the sleeves!
I feel like a Disney character or something, with an extra dash of nostalgia.

Also I just realised whilst putting these pics up that I had left the side tag still on, woops! I must have just been a bit too eager to get dressed up in it. Never mind eh?

I'm going to be doing a few Christmas related DIY's over the next few weeks, so have a little look out for those if you would like.
They will be filled with pompoms and chocolates :)

Pink Polka-dot Tuesday

Top~Tara Starlet/ Skirt~Vintage
Socks~Primark/Shoes~Topshop

Hello again!

It may be November but that doesn't seem to be stopping my mood to wear light. bright outfits. Especially when you find the perfect pastel pink house to blend with (minus the crisp packets in the bush).
This week is going to be about bringing as much vibrancy and colour into these dull weathered days as possible.
Whether it's a red lip to work or a flower in my hair, I am determined to keep it up!

I have been a big fan of Tara Starlet for a long time and was so sad to hear that it was closing down.
But, I just had to get my mitts on this pink Carmen top before they went away forever
and I am so glad that the spotty goodness is now in my life.

Tulle skirts are still a big staple in my wardrobe, all year round and I thought it completed my outfit- plus you can never have too many twirling sessions.

Here is to another week of new beginnings!

Monday- Rusty Railway

Beret~H&M/ Turtleneck~Primark/ Pinafore~Mod Dolly
Socks~Primark/Shoes~Topshop

Happy Monday folks!

What a lovely start to the week, the sun is still shining and if you manage to stay out of the wind, there is still a warmth in the air.
I had a day off work and so I decided to go and have a little adventure down by the old railway tracks near my town.

The station itself is so lovely, covered in flowers, pastel guttering and vintage adverts. It is in its own little time warp and is completely silent-apart from the 12 o'clock steam train.

I felt the need to channel one of my favourite films 'The Railway Children' and hop on and off of the old rusty carriages and grassy green tracks. My tartan pinafore from Mod Dolly I have had for a few years now and it never fails to see me through the Autumn/ Winter months.

From now on I am going to make the most of my days off, as there are so many quaint little places for a stroll around Devon.
You honestly never know what you will stumble across.

I will be cooped up working in the Pharmacy until Sunday now, so fresh air and beautiful landscapes are always very welcome.

I do hope your week has begun with a positive bang!

Lots of love always

Archive By Alexa

Hat~ Ebay/ Blouse~Marks and Spencers/ Skirt~Vintage/ Shoes~Topshop

Hey my lovelies,

So, I am sure you have all seen the 'Archive by Alexa' collection, a collaboration between Alexa Chung and Marks and Spencer. I'm sure I am not alone in saying that I wasn't too sure what to expect from the highly spoken of ensemble of pieces that came out last month. But, when I saw this Harry Blouse, with its frills and thrills, I couldn't help myself. I chose the blouse in pink, as I find white shirts a lot more difficult to style, which is a bit strange I know. Anyhow, I absolutely love this piece to...well...pieces and I cannot wait to style it with more of my wardrobe.
In just a few days I will be turning twenty-five, so I thought I would bring all of my pastel pieces out in the humid sun for some snaps.

What do you think of the Archive collection?

Lots of Love,

Blue, Blouse & Tulle

Earrings~Topshop/ Blouse~Zara/Skirt~Vintage/Bag~Vintage/Socks~Primark/Shoes~Topshop

Hey there lovelies!
I hope you are all well :) I have been on another Turkish adventure recently, I can't seem to get enough of that country. Going to Turkey always puts me in a positive, chilled mood and helps me to think about what I really want from life.
Spring has really risen its head in the last week, with the sun shining and the trees all blooming like crazy. It really is the season of new beginnings. I will be turning 25 in a few weeks time and this season always help me to decide what I want from the next.
This Zara blouse has been worn to death by me over the past month, it just seems to go with absolutely everything I own. I love mixing white with bright pastels and feminine fabrics and that is what I was trying to achieve in this ensemble.
I will be off to Greece in a few weeks time, I really seem to have the travel bug this year! I can't wait to relax on a beautiful Island, eat fresh fruit and take in the lovely sights.

Have you got any summer plans?

Lots of Love always,
