OOTD: Flowers & Gingham

Oh my, what lovely weather we have been having this week! I have spent the majority of it like a reptile, sat quietly and still in one position in the garden. This glorious weather also meant that I could wear my new gingham dress from Olive & Frank, which I was so happy to have found. It is so sweet and has little cut out shoulders and puffed sleeves. When I saw it on the website I couldn't believe how perfect and pretty it was, so I bought it before it sold out. I wore it with matching gingham socks and a little lace skirt underneath, so the dress wasn't too short for my tall frame. I also went all out on the plaits and tied a bit of lace around the braids to match my outfit. I think this will be my go-to outfit in the coming months, on day trips and walks etc.

Hope everyone else has been ok! What is your favourite thing to do in the sun?

  16. This dress is gorgeous, especially with the lace skirt underneath , it's so summery! And your lipstick is the most perfect red lipstick I think I have ever seen. My favourite thing to do in the heat is to read in the garden and eat ice lollies, I figure the sun won't be around for long, so I'd better make the most of it! xx
