Eggcellent Easter

Headband~Handmade by me/ Dress~Vintage Style Me (via Depop)/Shoes~Primark

HAPPY EASTER YOU BEAUTIES!
I hope you have all had a lovely long weekend and have gotten enough chocolate to last you until next year! I rarely get a couple of days off work to really relax and catch up with my friends, but luckily this bank holiday I did.
My sister and I went for a walk in the park and she surprised me with a beautiful little basket of goodies and a homemade breakfast smoothie! My little sister really is the kindest person.
I have also started writing for The Upcoming magazine again, which I am so excited about. I love writing about fashion, not only on my blog, but for articles too. Hopefully this will make me more consistent with posts and pictures :)

I decided to go a bit nautical today, with this sweet little sailor dress from Vintage Style Me.  Anything with a bib is just a dream in my eyes and I love the baby blue shade.
The house pictured is my absolute ideal home, I walk past it every single day and fantasize about what a lovely life the people inside must have, Oh, if only I could own a house with magnolia trees blossom growing up the sides.

Speak soon and lots of love

Blue dress and a basket of flowers

Dress~Vintage Style Me/ Bird necklace~Dorothy Perkins/ Socks~Primark/ Shoes~Topshop

Hey lovelies! I am visiting my parents in Devon for the week and it is actually sunny. I couldn't believe my eyes when I hopped off the train and I was surrounded by warm air, for the first time in sooo long.
I finally got to wear my new dress from Vintage Style Me, I love everything they have and I often try to purchase an item on my pay days. I really love the collar/bib detail and the colour is such a nice blue. It is also the perfect length for summer days and I love how floaty and comfortable it is.
The flowers are handpicked from the garden, that's something I really miss about living in London, not having a place to grow pretty petals. I went a bit mad and we began running out of baskets and vases to put all of the flowers in.
I also had a really amazing lunch, which included salad, cashew and banana bread and a cheeky midday Mojito. I love eating outside in the summer. The week has been a really lovely break from the city so far, but I do miss London already.

I am still holding a giveaway which you can enter here as there is a basket of goodies to be won!

OOTD: Floral Crown, Floral Dress

Flower crown~Crown&Glory/ Flared Floral Dress~Hypnotic Dolly from Vintage Style Me/ Netted skirt~Handmade/ Boots~Vintage Clarks

Finding a nice windy hill or sunny park is often hard to come by in London, you have to really search for a good patch of grass to picnic on. So when my sister and I were having a walk today and discovered this huge park by my university, we were delighted. I was so happy I even had a little lay down on the half damp grass. I can't wait until it's a bit warmer, so we can go there weekly.

I wore a couple of brand new purchases, I have been on a bit of a spending spree recently. I have gotten into the habit of treating myself to a lovely item every time I hand in an assignment (which is a lot recently) and I now need to give my pockets a long old break.
The first new item was a beautiful wine flower crown from Crown & Glory. I have been admiring their head accessories on various bloggers over the past few months and thought it was about time I got my own. I really love how big the roses are and think that the wine colour will go well with a lot of my wardrobe.
My lovely new dress was also something I had been debating about for a while, I got it from one of my  favourite online places, Vintage Style me. I love the skater style, the floral print and velvety fabric, it is a really comfy dress to wear and it is so pretty. I wore this netted skirt underneath, just because the dress is a bit short and because I'm so tall everything needs to be extended, unfortunately!

I can't believe it's March tomorrow, this year is going so quickly!

OOTD: A Velvet Cat

Velvet Top~eBay~£20
Cat skirt ~Vintage Style Me~ £20
Brogues~Primark~£10

Isn't the weather cold! My thoughts of an early spring now seem a bit far fetched. But oh well, my amazing new cat floral skirt from Vintage Style me came this morning and I couldn't be happier with it. It is the perfect length, with a very sweet lace trim and of course a cat print is always a positive. I teamed it with this green velvet top from eBay, which is one of my favourite things in my wardrobe. I wasn't sure if the print and velvet  would be too much but I think it works ok.

A snow storm is expected tonight, exciting!

OOTD: A Cat Pocket Prize

A couple of weeks ago I entered the lovely Paige Joanna's giveaway to win a custom built t-shirt from Vintage Style Me and to my complete surprise I won! I was so happy and thought it was such a nice giveaway, perfect in time for Christmas. I chose the forest green colour with a cat pocket and am delighted with the result, they have a great range of choices which you can have a browse at here.
The lovely wrapped package came perfectly in time on Christmas Eve, so I was able to incorporate the t-shirt into my outfit today. I was even treated to a £5 voucher and gorgeous postcard from Paige's illustrations.
Thanks so much to both Paige and Vintage Style Me's Rhiannon and I hope you all have a very festive Christmas.
