The Colours Of Spring

Top~Zara/ Trousers~ Vintage/ Earrings~Forever 21/ Bindis~ Market

Hello my dears,

Another Bank holiday is upon us, how lovely to have an extra day to catch up with bits and bobs. These snaps were actually taken on the Easter bank holiday a few weeks back, so I thought I would try to sneak them into this bank holiday post instead. Although, I have just looked out of my window and the rain is absolutely pouring down, what a contrast to the sunny days just past. Oh well, Sunday's were made for being cosy and curious.

So, when my mum and I were driving back from the garden center a few weeks back, we saw this rapeseed field on the side of the road. The light that was bouncing off of the bright yellow petals was so magical that it was impossible not to take a few pictures. Also, with the opposing greying sky it was truly a moment immersed in the most beautiful of nature. It reminded me of a Depeche Mode album cover I have somewhere in my collection. We had a good sniff of the pollen and ran through the waist-high  stems. Anyway, I really enjoyed it as you can probably tell haha.

I've just got back from a week in Marrakech, so expect a couple of big old posts about the trip and some good places to go if you fancy having a holiday there too.

Hope you have a wonderful bank holiday.

Lots of love always

Moving Back To The Countryside

Jumpsuit~Topshop/ Shoes~Topshop

Hello there!

After another long old absence from blogging (my sincere apologies), it feels like for the first time in a long time-I am free to do the things I love.
Blogging included, of course.
For after seven long years living in the city of London,
I have moved back to Devon for the foreseeable future.

Seeing as I have become a bit of a traveler these days, exploring Europe and the like as
often as I possibly can-London and the city no longer felt right-
For me anyway.

So, here I am in a field brimming with ripe sweetcorn,
wearing my most favourite purchase of the late summer.
My Topshop floral jumpsuit.
I have,
quite literally,
worn it to DEATH.

It makes me feel very happy that Autumn is now here,
bur also a little sad
that these sunny bright days are going to be few and far between from now on.
I am just going to try and embrace being back in the countryside,
get back on my bike and enjoy the simple things.

Speak soon
Lots of love always

Greenhouse Botanicals

Beret~Vintage/ Bows~Vintage/ Top~Zara/ Skirt~H&M

Hey there!

It has been a mad old week, rain and shine all at once. My sister and I took a very much needed sibling outing on Sunday and wondered around the Royal Botanic gardens in Kew. I love going there every now and again to remember that London isn't all dull and grey, there is still beauty and greenery when you go searching for it.

I even matched my outfit to the surroundings and felt very much a part of nature! I must have had this skirt for about 8 years and even though the hem is a mess and threads are coming out of it, my goodness it is still one of my favourites.

It was a lovely 'Escape to the country' kinda day and we had a right old giggle and ate way too many sandwiches.

Do you have a secret getaway spot?

Lots of love

Blue, Blouse & Tulle

Earrings~Topshop/ Blouse~Zara/Skirt~Vintage/Bag~Vintage/Socks~Primark/Shoes~Topshop

Hey there lovelies!
I hope you are all well :) I have been on another Turkish adventure recently, I can't seem to get enough of that country. Going to Turkey always puts me in a positive, chilled mood and helps me to think about what I really want from life.
Spring has really risen its head in the last week, with the sun shining and the trees all blooming like crazy. It really is the season of new beginnings. I will be turning 25 in a few weeks time and this season always help me to decide what I want from the next.
This Zara blouse has been worn to death by me over the past month, it just seems to go with absolutely everything I own. I love mixing white with bright pastels and feminine fabrics and that is what I was trying to achieve in this ensemble.
I will be off to Greece in a few weeks time, I really seem to have the travel bug this year! I can't wait to relax on a beautiful Island, eat fresh fruit and take in the lovely sights.

Have you got any summer plans?

Lots of Love always,

Mountains & Ruins

Hat~Primark/ Dress~H&M/ Shoes~Topshop

Hello loves!

Oh my, I have just come back from the most wonderful holiday to Turkey. Two weeks up in the mountains, swimming in the bluest of seas and eating wonderful fresh fruit and even blue crab!
Despite me looking a little bit moody in these pics, I actually had a truly special, magical little time up there and was terribly sad to come back to grey old England. But nevertheless, it has made me want to travel a lot more and I cannot wait to do so.
I wore this H&M dress to death whilst I was there, even in 40 degree heat it still kept me cool. Also, despite my best efforts and the sun beaming everyday, I still came back as pale as a ghost. But I guess that's what smothering lashings of factor 50 and sitting in the shade will do to a pale person :)

Hope you are all well and enjoying the newly Autumn season, my favourite!

Lots of Love
