Eggcellent Easter

Headband~Handmade by me/ Dress~Vintage Style Me (via Depop)/Shoes~Primark

HAPPY EASTER YOU BEAUTIES!
I hope you have all had a lovely long weekend and have gotten enough chocolate to last you until next year! I rarely get a couple of days off work to really relax and catch up with my friends, but luckily this bank holiday I did.
My sister and I went for a walk in the park and she surprised me with a beautiful little basket of goodies and a homemade breakfast smoothie! My little sister really is the kindest person.
I have also started writing for The Upcoming magazine again, which I am so excited about. I love writing about fashion, not only on my blog, but for articles too. Hopefully this will make me more consistent with posts and pictures :)

I decided to go a bit nautical today, with this sweet little sailor dress from Vintage Style Me.  Anything with a bib is just a dream in my eyes and I love the baby blue shade.
The house pictured is my absolute ideal home, I walk past it every single day and fantasize about what a lovely life the people inside must have, Oh, if only I could own a house with magnolia trees blossom growing up the sides.

Speak soon and lots of love

Autumn Leaves & Nautical Sleeves

Playsuit~Asos/ Pearls~Vintage / Tights~Topshop/Shoes~Topshop/Bag~Tiger

Hello lovelies,

Eek, I am so excited that all of  the leaves are changing colour and soon enough there will be plenty of beautiful Autumn leaves to tread and crunch through. Which is honestly one of my favourite past times of, well....all time!
I just love autumn, the colours especially of berries, trees, coats and hats.
So in my previous post I mentioned that I bought two identical playsuits from Asos, but in different colours. So this is of course the blue one, with more typical nautical colours. I love the bib and little tie up ribbon and think it is perfect for this coming season.

What are you going to be wearing this Autumn?

Lots of love

The End Of Summer

Flower Crown~Primark/Playsuit~asos/ Skirt~Primark/Bag~Vintage

Good afternoon my loves <3 ,
I cannot believe I haven't done a post in so long, especially an outfit post. Even though I have neglected my blog these last few months (something I feel terrible about), it's never too late to come back and try and refill The Pale Female with all the love I really want to give it.
I won't bore you with my mundane reasons for my absence, but instead I will look at the positives.
So let's talk good things....
Well I recently moved house and am over the moon in my new place. I am almost at the stage where I am tempted to do a room tour, just need to add a few finishing touched and then I will be able to show you guys some bits and bobs.
I have also been generally getting back into the creative swing of things, including lots of writing and DIYS.
Oh and my favourite season is nearly upon us, I just love autumn so much :)
Just a few things about my outfit, I am so in love with my new playsuit from asos in the sale. So much so that I purchased it in both pink and blue. The blue I will surely feature in a post soon,
I am really into PVC and fluff at the moment, so when I got this skirt from Primark I decided to stick a load of fluff to the bottom; to make it even more perfect.

Thanks to those of you that have continued to support my blog in my absence, I appreciate it more than I can jot down in words.

Speak soon

OOTD:Polka Dot Sailor

Hat~ebay/Two piece~ebay/Tights~Primark/Shoes~Office

Hello lovely readers!

Oh why all of this rain? I just want a few days of warmth, so my clothes can dry and little freckles pop up on people's cheeks. I took these snaps above on one of the sunnier days this month and was unsure for ages on how to style the little nautical outfit. I purchased it on ebay, I just happened to stumble across it and fell in love. I was so scared it wasn't going to fit and I would look like an adult child and a bit ridiculous, but I decided to go for it anyway. For this reason I was a bit apprehensive about posting the outfit, but having turned twenty two a few days ago, I felt it best to just go all out on my outfits whilst I am still young. I've decided to just embrace being this age and being able to wear what I really like and hopefully not be judged.

I love the little details on the top and anything with polka dots makes me smile. The shoes I got from Office, in the sale, they are suede and really comfy and I am finding myself pairing them with a lot of my clothes.

Hoping everybody is well and I have a couple of beauty related type posts coming up, just to mix it up a little bit.

D.I.Y Mermaid Tail

Last weekend I went to a boat party with an amazing nautical based theme. I was really excited to make my outfit  rather than buy it as I hadn't had a little DIY project for a long time. So anyway I became a mermaid by wearing a very shiny tail and so I thought I would share how I made it, as it was a lot easier than I thought (even with my terrible sewing skills).

What you'll need

Ω 1x pair of coloured or patterned leggings
Ω About a meter of material, preferably a bit stretchy
Ω Needle and thread
Ω Scissors
Ω Tea, biscuits, music and a little bit of patience

Ω Start by cutting up the seams of the inside legs of the leggings. Do this on both sides right the way around and then turn the leggings inside out.

Ω Next cut your material in half and pin one half to the front of the leggings. Right from the crotch to the end of the leggings, so it creates a panel.

Ω Start sewing the panel in, I pulled the stitching really tight in order to get a ruched effect, but whether you want to do so is up to you!

Ω Do exactly the same on the other side and make sure they are even in length.

Ω Now you should have something very mermaidish and tail like! I chose to style the tail high waisted, as that is my personal style but you can style it however you wish.

Ω  Add some accessories such as a shell bra, pearls and gems to complete the look.

I hope you enjoyed this mermaid post and I hope you attend some lovely fancy dress parties this Christmas!
