Monday- Rusty Railway

Happy Monday folks!

What a lovely start to the week, the sun is still shining and if you manage to stay out of the wind, there is still a warmth in the air.
I had a day off work and so I decided to go and have a little adventure down by the old railway tracks near my town.

The station itself is so lovely, covered in flowers, pastel guttering and vintage adverts. It is in its own little time warp and is completely silent-apart from the 12 o'clock steam train.

I felt the need to channel one of my favourite films 'The Railway Children' and hop on and off of the old rusty carriages and grassy green tracks. My tartan pinafore from Mod Dolly I have had for a few years now and it never fails to see me through the Autumn/ Winter months.

From now on I am going to make the most of my days off, as there are so many quaint little places for a stroll around Devon.
You honestly never know what you will stumble across.

I will be cooped up working in the Pharmacy until Sunday now, so fresh air and beautiful landscapes are always very welcome.

I do hope your week has begun with a positive bang!

Lots of love always

OOTD: Denim & Pink

Jumper~Topshop/ Pinafore~ Mod Dolly/ Bag~ SunJellies/ Socks~Primark/ Shoes~JuJu

Hello my darlings!

Just a quick outfit post and cheeky update!
I have been away for a while doing this and that, but am finally back into being excited about blogging. Every since my birthday last month I have been trying to bring as much colour into my outfits as possible. As a sort of salute to the next 10 years of my life, where I feel I will still be wearing these little, girly outfits.
When I saw the previews for this Mod Dolly pinafore, I literally couldn't wait to get my hands on it. The heart pockets are my favourite part, pockets are the key to everything! Trust me.
I had been having a bit of a Britney music marathon this morning, hence the hairstyle inspiration.

As usual my jellies are out for June and what better way to enhance this years' jelly vibe, with a matching bag from SunJellies. Pink too, of course!

I can't wait until the weather is less humid and sticky, it's been driving me mad this week! This year really is just soaring by!

Hope you have all been enjoying the first few weeks of June :)

XOXO

Hello again my dears,
I have to confess now, I have done nothing this past week except for watch Gossip Girl from the beginning on Netflix. I have become addicted....again.
October is here and so I thought I would combine my two current loves at the moment;Autumn attire and trying to channel my inner Blair Waldorf . She is one of my biggest style icons and even though trying to even touch her perfect style is impossible, I wanted to try and incorporate pieces from my wardrobe that were somewhat Waldorf like.
This season for me is all about greens, yellows and purples. So my beloved Mod Dolly pinafore is always a favourite, especially this time of year. Berets are also an essential for me and this mustard one has seen me through a few good years of chilly weather.

Who is your biggest style icon and what are your favourite shades to wear in autumn?

Lots of Love

Easter Wonderland

Hat~Ebay/Dress~Mod Dolly/ Socks~Primark/ Shoes~JuJu

Good Morning my loves and Happy Easter Weekend,
I came down to Devon to visit my parents and to participate in the much anticipated egg hunt that takes place every year in my garden. You are never too old to go hunting for chocolate. I have a few favourite places I like to visit when I go home and the grounds of these beautiful gardens seemed like a perfect place to take some snaps.
This dream dress of gingham and girliness is from the ever beloved Mod Dolly, Literally as soon as I saw this dress was going to be made I was so excited to purchase it. I love everything about it and will definitely be a popular item in my wardrobe this summer. It also matched my jelly shoes perfectly, I just love going over the top with colour co-ordination, I can't help it :) .

Hope you have all had a lovely long bank holiday weekend, I would love to hear what you have been up to.

Hey sweets!  Another Monday has come back around and I have had a busy week sorting through clutter. My best friend and I have decided that we just have too many things and so we have decided to do something about it. We were having a huge clear out in our flat recently and discovered so many treasures we had completely forgotten about. I never knew how many balloons, kimonos and hand creams I owned and just how little I had been using them. So, yes we are going to be putting on a huge market stall as soon as we are sorted, so exciting! Hopefully in either Portobello road or Spitalfields market and we will be selling all sorts, from clothes and bags, to our handmade soap and socks. I will be sure to keep you informed, incase any of you want to come down there.
I'm back to blogging more regularly now and the outfit above was taken by my beautiful sister this afternoon. Apologies for the moody photos, all the smiley ones seemed to be blurry!
I wore my Ever Ours top, which I have been meaning to feature for a while. I adore its velvety fabric and the pearls that are so scattered and pretty. I love this brand and they have some really nice smock type dresses I have had my eye on recently. I wore my Mod Dolly tartan pinafore over the top, to mix up the patterns and textures, a new hobby of mine. Pinafores are still my favourite item this season and this is my most loved from my wardrobe collection.

What has your favourite Spring/Summer item been?

Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Speak soon...
