Brighton Weekend

Dress~Beyond Retro/ Flower Crown~Roses & Clementines/ Shoes~Primark

As much as I love London, sometimes all the hustle and bustle gets a bit too much. So, this weekend my sister and I took a little trip to Brighton. We stayed with one of my closest friends and had a lovely time doing touristic things in the seaside city. I love that Brighton is only an hour away, yet so different to the big city. It's full of beautiful little shops, restaurants and generally more friendly people.

I wore this bright red ensemble, as the weather was humid and I felt like getting my Sound of Music vibes on. I love spinning in this dress and just generally frolicking around in it!

We enjoyed sipping on shakes and getting chips on the pier and it was the perfect weekend getaway!

I cannot believe it's May soon, only a few weeks until my birthday now :)

May Pole Dance In June

Headcrown ~Roses & Clementines/ Dress~ Primark/Shoes~Topshop

Hello Sweets,
So we have rolled into June, with a few sunny days and a lot of asking how this year is going so quickly. I feel like I didn't do enough May outfits this year and so I am making up for it with this May-Pole-Dance inspired outfit.
My beautiful new floral crown is from one of my favourite online shops, Roses & Clementines and I am just so in love with it. I got a custom order, so it was just perfect. The little strawberries and red berries are just so sweet and makes me dream of childhood picnics and jam sandwiches.
I really liked this dress when I saw it in Primark, I'm not sure if the shape suits my body type but I thought it would be a nice white summer dress to easily pop on. The little inserts are my favourite part and it was also nice to buy something with a high collar, an unusual choice for me.
I have nearly finished all my exams at work, so in a few weeks I will be a fully trained health care consultant, I can't wait.

Have a lovely week :)

Pink Kimono

Flower Crown~Roses & Clementines
Kimono~Charity Shop
Dress~Rokit Vintage
Socks~Primark
Shoes~Topshop

Hello hello! I had a particularly pink day today, as you can probably tell. Not a colour I wear a lot, but one I am trying to branch into a bit more with my current outfits. I got to wear this lovely kimono, that my mum bought me for graduation. It was so light and super silky to wear on a warm city day like today. I felt like I had big patterned wings whilst walking into town to get some lunch! I also sported my most favourite of headbands today, from the lovely shop Roses & Clementines, it was great to mix lots of pinky shades and feel really girly on a weekday.
I am currently planning another little giveaway, which will hopefully be up in the next few weeks. Just as a big thank you for all your lovely comments and also because I have a lot of bits and bobs that I can't wait to give away!

Hope everyone's bank holiday weekend was great, mine was very relaxing and brimming with snacks and books (as always)!

Turning 22

Head crown~Roses & Clementines/ Dress~Generation Collective

Yesterday was my 22nd birthday, I am always a bit skeptical about having a party or how to celebrate and so this year I decided to have a picnic. Originally I was going to have a picnic in a park, but seeing as the weather was a bit fickle I decided to have one indoors. My housemate and I decided to make an indoor tent by sewing all of our duvets together and making a huge Moroccan type tent in the living room. We filled it with fresh flowers, pillows and lots of jam tarts and cocktails.

I had been waiting to wear this amazing pink dress from Generation Collective on etsy, I fell in love with its vintage frills and Little Bo Peep style and decided to treat myself for my birthday. The lovely flower crown I am wearing is from Roses & Clementines, I got it custom made especially to go with the dress and I was so delighted with how lovely it was and how much it matched my outfit.

I had a lovely day despite the rain and enjoyed dressing up and being surrounded by my nearest and dearest friends.

I hope everyone is enjoying this month of May and hopefully a bit more sunshine is just around the corner!
