Hello loves and a very Happy New Year to you all.

I had a very relaxing start to 2017, spent cosy by the fire with my family and my bestie. Talking through the pros and cons of the year whilst sipping Prosecco that had lost its fizz and Jools Holland in the background- the usual.

I don't want to speak too soon, but so far so good and despite the chill that ever so often arrives in January, I am in very high spirits. 

So, to kick of new beginnings in 'style', here are a few snaps of  me in one

of my favourite comfy outfits, a bright red lip and a trusty beret.

Resolutions and the first outfit of the year

I wore this outfit on New year's day as I felt it's a bit crazy and would be perfect to start 2013 in an ankle length velvet dress! I love long dresses at the moment, this one especially makes me want to run through a field and watch a medieval film. I really like the high neck lace trim and detail on the cuffs, it was under £10 and for a vintage gem I was very happy with this ruby find.

Resolutions...

The phrase 'new year,new you' always comes about at the beginning of January and this year instead of creating a whole new self I am just going to try and work on the old me. I chose things this year that I hope I can actually accomplish. University assignments are killing me at the moment, so I think simpler goals are what I need for the upcoming busy months.

The Pale Female's 2012 outfits

The last day of the year, so exciting! I decided to jump on the band wagon and do a 2012 outfits post, as I think it is always really interesting to see how your own style changes over time!
I have had a really lovely year and I am hoping that next year will be just as great. Although I am very new to the blogging world I am very happy to be a part of it and I hope my little blog can develop into something I am really proud of.
