November the first, I cannot believe it! I hope you all had a spooky Halloween and lots of sweets :)

I have been meaning to post this for a while, but after my little holiday to Amsterdam I have only just found the time. 

Autumn is really upon us and there is nothing like a Sunday stroll through the leaves and crunching through the colours of crimson and mustard. 

I was gifted this watch from JORD in the summer and thought it was fitting for it to match my outfit as it is entirely made of wood. They have very unique designs and are very environmentally friendly! Nature should always come first :)

On another note, I have begun writing my first proper book. After a long while of writers block and feeling like everything I had scribbled down was just awful...I finally feel like all my ideas are coming together. 

Christmas is drawing ever closer, oh where has 2015 been running off to?

DIY: Fluffy Bag

Hello sweets, another little DIY for you today. I am a lover of all things fluffy, especially when it comes to accessories and so I decided to try making something of my own. I am also hoping to decorate my socks and earrings in the near future, but for now here is how I made this bag covered in fluff stuff :)

What You Need:

-Small, nice shaped bag 

-Metre or so of fluff

-Glue Gun

-Pom Poms, or other decorations

-Draw stripes with the glue gun down one side of the bag.

-Press the fluff down, following the zig-zag pattern of the glue

-Cut the fluff in place, when one side has been covered

-Repeat on the other side

-Glue along the remaining unfluffed up parts of the bag and add any sort of decoration you like. I chose pom poms because I think they went together with the overall look of the bag,

Now you should have a very fluffy and very sweet little bag, to pop in your essentials on the last remaining summer days.

Hello my loves,
Having taken a well needed holiday from work I was finally able to take a little trip to visit my parents in Devon. I am always amazed at the difference between the countryside and city life and having flicked between the both for the past five or so years, I have become accustom to loving them both.
So I picked my most pink and girly outfit to go running through fields and pose by my dream car. I was trying to channel a sort of Legally Blonde vibe, as I re watched the film recently and fell back in love with Elle's style. I just love her over the top, yet care free outfits.
I delved into the sales recently, it seems everywhere has such pretty things at a fraction of the original price. Topshop I was especially pleased with and the majority of my outfit stemmed from the reduced racks. This fluffy bag is so much fun and I will be doing a DIY post soon on how to create your own replica of this River Island one.
This summer I plan to wear many more ensembles in just one colour, I think it is my new found hobby,

Dried Flower Crown: A Bank Holiday DIY

Hello my loves,

From a very young age I have been in love with dried flowers. I used to pick numerous bunches of dandelions and daisies and press them in between my heaviest books, when I was at school,as this was before I got my vintage flower press. I had gathered such an array of different dried out bits and pieces, that I decided to make the most of the three day weekend and create something with them. I couldn't think of anything more perfect than a flower crown, just in time for summer. It is really easy peasy to make and this is how I did it... 

What You Need:

Dried & Pressed flowers

Thick Headband

Glue Gun

Scissors

Step one

Separate out the leaves, ferns, gourse etc into a pile. Start by gluing the leaves all over the band, until covered. This will be the base of the crown, for you to build on. You can start adding bits of fern and bracken, making sure it is cut to size and fits with the base of the band. 

Step Two

The next bit is to gather all the pressed, smaller or flatter flowers and start gluing them on top of the base. Try and layer them from the bottom and work your way up into the middle of the crown, on both sides. 

Step Three

Lastly bring together all of the dried larger flowers, especially buds. Making sure you leave a little of the stalk to help support the flower, glue towards the ends and the middle of the crown. Try to make sure that everything is dispersed and you are happy with the compilation. 

Hopefully after a while of adding, cutting, gluing and more adding, you should have your very own dried flower crown. Keep in a dry place and wear whenever and with whatever you want :)
