Pineapples And Buttercups

Earrings-New Look
Dress-Primark
Bag- H&M
Socks-Primark
Shoes-eBay

Hello my loves. I wore this outfit a few days ago, when the weather was a bit more friendly and I couldn't wait to share the brightest most yellow outfit I have ever worn. I still can't decide if all that yellow goes together, or if I just look like a long tub of margarine!
I hadn't been into good old Primark for a while and when I spotted this lovely detailed number I just had to snap it up. I love the collar and shape of the dress, it is just so pretty and for £22, I couldn't resist. My pineapple bag is also a recent purchase, again a little gem that caught my eye immediately. I have been trying to fill it with lots of sweet things, to match its aesthetic. Continuing with my love and build up of flower crowns I got this lovely white headband from blogger Galaxy Caramel 69, she has a lot of really nice headbands for sale over on her blog here, if you would like to grab one for yourself.

I get my degree results tomorrow, which is a bit scary! I get to see if three years of hard work has paid off, let's hope so.

What do you think of wearing block colours? How much is too much?

OOTD: A Stripey Pinafore And Feline Socks

Beret-Accessorize
Blouse- Charity shop
Pinafore-Karma Clothing*

Shoes-Office

Hey everyone, sorry for my brief absence! So it seems I have finally embraced the monochrome trend. I felt a bit arts and crafty  a few days ago and decided to wear an outfit to match my mood.  I picked up this sweet blouse from my local charity shop, they always have the most lovely shirts and crop tops in there. I teamed it with my new pinafore from Karma Clothing, which was  a very sweet gift from the brand. I love the stripes and pockets and found it really comfortable to wear over my blouse. I can see it being a very useful and well worn piece of my wardrobe by the end of summer. I love to wear nice socks with all my outfits and I thought my little cat ones would do the job nicely with this ensemble.

How would you style a pinafore?

DIY Oh So Pretty Socks

What you need:
Pretty trimmings
Plain socks
Scissors
Glue Gun

1. Wrap your trimming around the top of your sock and cut the length you need.
2. Glue the trimming and along the rim of the sock
3. Press the trimming around the sock, wait to dry and enjoy!

Hello! This is probably the easiest thing I have ever customised and I am so happy with how these socks turned out. I love making plain things look pretty and interesting and with so many pretty socks in the shops, I thought I would have a go myself. I think by simply gluing a piece of lace or pompoms to some socks will mean your feet will always look lovely. I don't know about you, but I love now having a draw of colourful, fun socks. I am really enjoying my glue gun, I got it for about £5 on ebay and it came with 46 glue sticks! I can't believe I didn't have one before and I am now trying to use it on a daily basis.

What do you lovelies think of pretty socks and what shoes would you style them with?

OOTD: Picnics In The Park And A Vanity Case

Hat~ebay
Dress~Generations Collective
Tights & Socks~Primark
Shoes~Office
Vanity Case~Charity Shop

Hello lovelies! What lovely weather we have been having here in London town. I have been trying to get out as much as possible and enjoying picnics in the park and copious amounts of smoothies. Today I wore my second dress from Generations Collective, I absolutely love everything in this etsy store and wish I could buy every single item. The fabric is so comfortable and great for the warmer days. I styled it with my boater hat, a cheap and cheerful piece of headwear, that I have been wearing a lot recently. I picked up this 1950's vanity case in a charity shop and have been taking it on all of my travels recently.
All this sun is making me really want a little holiday, after all the stress from finishing my degree it would be lovely to have a few days somewhere new.

Hope everyone else is enjoying this weather, how have you been spending your June so far?

DIY Flower Crown

You will need:
Stemmed Flowers - As many as you wish
A plain headband
Artificial leaves
Smaller flowers

1. Start by aligning where you would like your larger flowers to go and wrap the stem around the headband. Add as many as you wish until it looks something like the picture below.
 2. Next you want to add the smaller flowers in and around the gaps, using the same technique. Spread them as widely as you want or compress several into the same place. I think it looks nice either way.

3. Lastly wrap the leaves around any gaps left, or if you want to cover up any of the bits you are not completely happy with. This also makes it look lovely and realistic.

And that is about it! I love how easy these are to make and also how sweet they make an outfit look. I got pretty much all of my bits to make the crown on ebay, they have a huge array of artificial flowers of all sizes and colours.

What do you guys think and what colours would you choose?

Oh also it is the last day to enter my giveaway, the winner will be decided tomorrow evening at complete random. So if you haven't already entered you can do so here.
