GRWM: Summer Edition Video

Hey my petals,

Hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend!

So..I made another video, something I was literally terrified to do. I did a short 'Get Ready With Me' (GRWM) video, for my typical look on a sunny day in summer. 

It's a big thing to sit in front of a camera and talk to it, I know it is cliche to say the least, but I really think it is. 

However, I decided to conquer my fear and just film and see what happens. Even if I'm not wearing a scrap of make up throughout the majority and showing how many moisturisers I need to coat on, to deal with my dry skin haha!

Another Year Older

So, on Monday I celebrated my birthday... my 24th birthday to be exact. Even writing this now I still can't believe that is my age. It seems only a day ago that I was turning 18 and moving to London on my own. Now it is a whole 6 years later! 

I spent the day wearing this glorious, floor-length dress from Beyond Retro, which I picked up on my trip to Brighton. Walking around I got a few odd looks, some good some bad, but I just thought it's my birthday and I will dress how I want :)

I spent the day with my nearest and dearest and kept it minimal with carrot cake and goblets of cherry vodka. Walking around Regent's Park in the warm weather was also a lovely end to the day.

My aim is to really embrace being 24, even if I feel like I am turning 56.... there are always exciting things happening just around the corner!

Hello lovelies!

A very summery May greeting to you all and I hope you have been enjoying the last couple of days of sunshine. I have a whole week off work, woohoo and have been spending it dressing up and eating lots of fruit salads.

This new white dress from Little White Lies is my favourite buy of the season so far. I love the off-shoulder puff sleeves and the discreet white polka dots on the organza fabric. 

I really want to go on a little holiday soon, just a little road trip to a city in  Europe. This weather has had me dreaming of far-away streets and floral wines and a sweet weekend getaway.

My love of novelty bags has reared its head once more, with this cute little strawberry tin from Tiger. It managed to keep all my necessities for the day and is as light as a feather to carry.

May is without a doubt one of my favourite months of the year and it always brings a lot of positive connotations with it (my birthday for one!) I definitely have good feelings about this summer to come and I hope to catch up with a lot more people and stay in contact :)
